Author Update

It's now been more than a year since Lessons from the Admiral, Naval Wisdom and Sea Stories was released. Last month, I approved the third printing, as I easily approached 10,000 copies across hardback, ebook, and audiobook formats. And Lessons from the Admiral has received the Book Excellence Award in Leadership!

While I have started to work on my next leadership book, I have taken a slight detour to write and publish my first children's book, Andy the Admiral and the USS Shipshape.

It will be released on September 1st and is available now for preorder on Amazon here.

Andy the Admiral is the first book in The Shipshape Shipmate Children's book series and has already received highly positive prepublication reviews and accolades. It is a beautifully illustrated, entertaining, and educational book that I know will be fun in schools and in your homes.

I have already begun work on the next two books in the series, with planned publication dates in the Spring and Fall of 2027.

I have compiled a list of all the podcasts I have been on in the last year, talking about Lessons from the Admiral, leadership, my time in the Navy, and my career as an aviation lawyer. You can find that list here.

And I just recently recorded my first children's book podcast that will be released closer to the release date of Andy the Admiral later this summer.

I am still working full-time, so writing is my hobby and pastime.
